BUSA
|
Bristol University is very proud to be hosting the British Universities Trampolining Championships Regional Qualification Round for the first time, and look forward to being involved with hosting BUSA events for many years to come. On behalf of the many people who have helped to ensure this day is a success, thank you all for willing to drive so many miles to take part!
There will be sandwiches and other refreshments available for purchase in the Chandos Café on the ground floor of the Centre for Sport, next to the main entrance. ‘Fine Designs’ will be present on the day selling a range of printed-to-order clothing including hoodies and polo shirts etc. Photographers will also be present, taking photos of all the competitors/teams which will be available for you to purchase as a reminder of your day in Bristol. These stands will all be in the main hall.
Warm up cards and tariff sheets will be handed to the team captain upon check in - please notify us of any withdrawals. The Check-In Desk will be located near the Main Hall entrance. Please allow suitable time before your competitors are due to compete. Every university should have a suitably qualified coach (to the level of your competitors) present on the competition floor during their competitor’s warm-ups and competes.
All competitors will receive 4 general warm-ups in the time specified. The competition will then run straight through set and vol with a controlled warm-up between each compete. There will be no finals. Please ensure that competitors have removed ALL jewellery before competing. This includes rings, necklaces, watches, earrings, and any body piercings.
For Novice and Intermediate Ladies a flight system has been put in place. You must only warm up in the time period set for the flight in which you are competing. You are advised to be available one hour before your allocated group time to allow for familiarisation with the venue, and preparation for competing. The organisers reserve the right to run up to one hour ahead or behind schedule.
